LaManda Pryor is an educator, consultant, coach, community leader, and proud Durham native with nearly three decades of experience helping people and communities grow.
Known for bringing warmth, energy, and a people-first approach to her work, LaManda has a way of helping people see possibilities—even when the path forward isn’t immediately clear. She believes strong relationships matter, good ideas deserve action, and sometimes the right conversation can change everything.
As founder of Pryor 2 Consulting, LaManda works with schools, organizations, leaders, and individuals through consulting, professional development, coaching, facilitation, and strategic support. She also serves as Director of Peaceful Schools NC, leading work that strengthens relationships, restorative practices, and school communities.
One day she may be facilitating a room of educators, the next coaching someone through a new chapter, mentoring a young person, or working alongside community leaders. The setting may change, but her purpose doesn’t: helping people gain the clarity, confidence, and tools to move forward.
Beyond the titles, LaManda is a proud mother, author, woman of faith, lifelong learner, and community advocate. She cares deeply about equity, opportunity, connection, and creating spaces where people from all backgrounds feel seen, valued, and able to thrive.
